As a Southern Baptist Church, we have a large network of disaster relief teams with decades of experience to come to our area to assist homeowners with the ultimate goal of getting them back into their homes. Our North Carolina Baptist Agency is called Baptists on Mission. THEY ARE A TRUSTED PARTNER!

The Christmas Boutique is coming. This incredible opportunity to bless families in the Swannanoa Valley is starting on December 7th. We need over 400 volunteers to make this work. Please look through the Sign-up Genius to find ways to volunteer.

If you would like to volunteer for cleaning out homes and going out to help in the community you can register with Baptists on Mission and they will direct you to sites all across Western North Carolina. You can choose to come here to FBC Swannanoa within the registration process. We thank you for helping.

Ways to Give

The overwhelming nature of this disaster has been something none of us were prepared for. Your generosity has enabled us to make it through this critical time. The donation of supplies is something we are narrowing in on to specifically what we need. You can see that list below. If you would like to give financially there are several ways to do this.
1. You can give to NC Baptist Disaster Relief which will continue to serve all of Western North Carolina
2. You can give to our "Local Benevolence - Hurricane Helene Recovery Fund" which we will use to help in our community for years to come.
3. You can give to our local church general budget as we will need to continue this gospel work for many years, but with many of our church members scattered we will need additional funds to meet our weekly need so as to house volunteers, feed volunteers, maintain our personnel, and other ministry related needs.

We have been truly amazed by the outpouring of support from churches to individuals. God has met very need we have had. We are now transitioning to some specific ways that you can help. Find a specific project you might be interested in and fill-out the corresponding form.

Donations of Physical Goods

We have been wonderfully overwhelmed by the outpouring of support by churches and individuals to bring physical goods to our location. We have distributed thousands of pounds of water, diapers, other baby products, non-perishable food, hygiene kits, pet food, and more.
AT THIS TIME,  WE ARE NO LONGER TAKING ANY DELIVERIES OF SUPPLIES. THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR YOUR GENEROSITY.
